Join a COVID-19 clinical trial

The PRINCIPLE trial aims to find treatments that reduce hospital admission and improve symptoms for people with COVID-19. You could be eligible to join if:

  • You have had these symptoms for fewer than 15 days:
    • a continuous new or worsening cough
    • a high temperature
  • You are aged 50 to 64 with a pre-existing illness
  • You are aged 65 and above

There is a research study running in the West of England looking at tackling domestic violence through a perpetrator programme.
REPROVIDE is running a domestic abuse perpetrator programme for men who are concerned about their behaviour in relationships with women.
This research programme is based on open referrals from North Somerset (amongst other local areas), meaning you can self refer and do not need to speak to your GP first.
The following men are eligible for this study:
– Men who are or have been using violence/abuse in their relationships with women partner(s) or ex-partners
– Men who are concerned about their behaviour
– Men aged 21+
– Men who can understand English well enough to take part in a group programme
