Minor Injury Unit (MIU) Service – Clevedon
Opening Hours: 8am – 8.30pm, 7 days a week
10am – 5:30pm, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
X-Ray Hours: 8:30am – 16:45 on weekdays and 10am – 5:30pm on weekends
Clevedon Minor Injury Unit is a walk–in service offering treatment for adults and children over 12 months of age for a wide range of minor injuries. All patients are seen by an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) who can help with:
- Wounds and grazes
- Cuts needing stitches
- Trips and falls
- Broken bones (x-ray facility on site)
- Minor injuries resulting from minor road traffic accidents
- Minor injuries arising from domestic violence
- Minor burns
- Sports injuries
- Sprains, bruises and abrasions
- Head injuries (no loss of consciousness)
- Simple eye trauma e.g. foreign bodies
- Removal of foreign bodies
- Advice
- Minor injuries in children over 12 months of age

Bristol Urgent Treatment Centre
Opening hours: 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week including bank holidays and Christmas Day
The Urgent Treatment Centre is a nurse and paramedic-led walk-in medical centre to support the local community with minor illnesses and urgent minor injuries such as:
- Sprains and strains
- Cuts and grazes
- Minor burns and scalds
- Assessment of suspected broken bones.
The centre will see both adults and children.
